Student Volunteer Program

We have received enough volunteers for CloudCom and volunteering applications are now closed.

Undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to apply as volunteers to help with the administration of the conference. Student volunteers will have the opportunity to learn about and discuss the latest developments in cloud computing and meet leading researchers from around the world while contributing to the success of Cloud Computing. Students will receive complimentary conference registration and a t-shirt. Applications are due Friday, October 22, 2010.

Volunteers will be expected to be available for two shifts (5-8 total hours of work) during the conference, Nov. 30-Dec. 3, 2010. Volunteers will be helping people find their way around the University Conference Center & campus, monitoring the meeting rooms, blogging about the break-out sessions, setting up posters and hosting special events. We need students from all disciplines to make this conference a success. No special skills or experience are necessary for most volunteer positions; however, some familiarity with the IUPUI campus, computing platforms, audio/visual equipment, or office equipment can be helpful.

Student Volunteer applications are due Friday, October 22, 2010. Successful applications will be notified of their acceptance by Wednesday, November 3, 2010.
